Sweet smile, soft voice and those lovely hazel eyes.
That cute face to die for and the tenderness to hold,
You took my hands when we first met,
I was nervous, you made me at ease, smiled and looked ever so great.

Hours of talking, that I did with you,
You really loved me like my own Nan would do!
You did take my side and were always there,
Then why couldn’t you have stayed?

You told me, you missed us,
Then why did you left us away?
I wish we were there, when you were taking your last breath.
Just to tell you how much we cared!

I wish I had seen your face,
Kissed you on your forehead,
And bid you my last farewell,
When they took you to the other place.

Your memories will always last,
But your touch was one of its kinds..
